Among several National Parks in Nepal, the Chitwan National Park is best for any visitor. Located in the subtropical Terai region, it abounds in mammals, birds, reptiles, and water animals of numerous kinds.
Satori Adventures has designed a one-night-and-two-day Chitwan Package tour for those visitors who desire to explore flora and fauna through jungle safari in a pretty short time.
In this package, you will take a flight from Kathmandu to Chitwan. You will first have lunch after you arrive at a Resort. Then we will take you to the typical Tharu village, where you can learn about the unique lifestyle of the Tharus, an indigenous community in Nepal. At night, you will appreciate the Tharu social program performed by the local artists.
The next morning after having breakfast, you will go for an elephant ride. You can see golden jackals, fishing cats, jungle cats, leopard cats, large and small Indian civets, Asian palm civets, and crab-eating mongooses, among many other faunas.
Fly/Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan. Hotel representatives will welcome you at the Bus Station or Bharatpur Airport. After a warm welcome, you will have a briefing about the scheduled program, and then lunch, you will have a Village walk, Sunset view from Riverbank, Tharu Culture Program, and Dinner.

There are various ways to visit the jungle and watch the wild animals, insects and reptiles. Elephant’s Safari is one of the most popular activities done in Chitwan Park inside the National park to see the many wild animals. Elephant Safari means sitting in the top of Elephant and visiting the Jungle. From where you can see the different kinds of wild animals such as rhinoceros, deer, wild elephant, tigers, snakes etc. Safety and security being our first concern, you will always be accompanied in the jungle, by one of our professional guides or naturalist.
Canoe ride is the river activities done in Rapti River in Chitwan National Park. These types of Canoe ride is the gentle rivers of the Lower Nepal plains are as experience in few counties of the world. Canoe is the hand carved dug-out. By this Canoe riding you can see the two types of crocodiles Magar mas and the Gadiyal crocodiles also you can see the various types of birds.
Jungle walk are usually walks in a small groups. They have their own culture, in Chitwan every Evening they will organize a Culture program they will perform Stick dance, and the crazy peacock dance are two highlights, but there are plenty of other surprises.
Chitwan National Park major attraction’s is the elephant breeding center. This was installed because the elephant population is becoming endangered in Nepal. The elephant breeding center is unique as it is one of the only 2 in the world. You have the opportunity to visit the center. You will see many babies Elephants in the center. There are two types of Crocodiles in Chitwan and one Gharials Breeding center which is endangered in Chitwan. The breeding center has been sat up in Kasara, Dedicate to the conservation of Ghariyal.
The main attraction of Chitwan is the Elephant Bathing. After the Elephant Jungle safari you can also participate in helping the Mahoute (The guide of Elephant) to bath with elephant.
There are Severeal Towers and lakes have been made by a local community committee to preserve wildlife in the forest. I made in the beginning of March 2017 the Everest trek in eleven days and with one guide who was very kindly and cool, but also very slow and weak and he was a smoker, what is for me the opposide of hiking...
And I did the small Annapurna trek in 4 days (over Poonhill) with a other guide, but with him was it excactly same, like with the first one...
And I did also a Safari in Chitwan, that was very cool to see and do.
Everything I got with the Satori agency, who is very reliable, friendly and in compared not to expensive.
Conclusion:
The Satori Company made good and reliable job, but they gave me unfortunately to weak mountain guides.
