Satori organized the 40 day trip to Nepal for me and a good friend of mine. After Rishi's first proposal of a shorter and more generic trip to EBC with Lobuche East and Island peak, we asked for a longer and more challenging experience with a custom route. This was no problem at all (at a new price, of course), and Rishi came up with some extra program to complete our experience. In the end we started with a short 3-day trekking to Mohare Dada / Poon Hill near Pokhara and then flew to the Everest region. There we started with the classic 3 passes trekking which was planned to be extended with Island Peak, Amphu Laptsa pass and Mera Peak. Because of fatigue and bad weather, we decided on the way to descend back to Lukla before finally summitting Mera Peak and omit Amphu Laptsa. This added quite some extra costs to the trip which Rishi kindly didn't charge at all. Instead, we enjoyed several meals together in Kathmandu and received free gifts with a nice surprise at the end. Our Sherpa guide(s) (one for trekking and two for climbing), two porters and cooks at the camps always were very friendly, helpful, attentive, motivating and professional and did their best to ensure we had a great time in the mountains. We hope to return to Nepal one day and extend our experience together with Satori.
The Ama Dablam expedition has surpassed all my expectations. From day one the organization of the trip was extremely well done and didn't have to worry about anything. All this gave me great that I was with a very professional team! The food was always excellent and very diverse. We had a very strong team of Sherpas and staff members, who were always friendly and willing to help whenever we needed them. So Satori Adventures is highly recommended in every way and the whole experience was something that will stay in my memory for the rest of my life. Can’t wait until my next climb with them! We found the Satori Adventures Company on the recommendation of friends who are mountaineers. The trek was organized fantastically. The staff and the owner of the company were very helpful and tried to make our trip unforgettable. We already miss the Himalayas and the Satori team. We will definitely use their services again.
My friend and I had unusual request to climb Ama-Dablam via non-standard route. Rishi and his managers organized our trip and helped with permits, transfers and porters. Rishi was always responsive and helpful. There were some issues, but all of them have been resolved successfully. Overall, I would recommend Satori as tour agency - they have staff in different locations and can help with variety of demands.
Satori provided excellent service during our Everest Base Camp trekking. It accommodated last minute travel changes, cost was reasonable ; guide was very knowledgeable, professional & helpful. Mr. Rishi personally arranged to have most comfortable trip. He also provided onsite services for sightseeing , money exchange etc. Will definitely recommend and choose again Satori for next adventure in Nepal.
Had the most amazing trip with Satori Adventures. We trekked the Manaslu circuit with the hope to climb Larkya peak but unfortunately the weather was not on our side. It was my first experience of camping out at above 5000mts. We couldn't have asked for better care and support. Pemba, Tendi and the team were amazing.

Generally speaking, Nepal is a country everyone must see (at least) once in a life time! Trekking to EBC is an unique experience in itself, BUT having a professional local agency is crucial! We were lucky to have had such an agency - Satori Adventures! Excellent organization, professional, patience and very kind guides that embodied nepalese natural style. When it came to wanting to climb an 8000m peak I was overwhelmed with options. I was put onto Satori Adventures and was so very pleased I was. The expedition was managed exceptionally well, and the support team were just fantastic. I genuinely couldn't have asked for more from my trip. Rishi extended 5* hospitality to us in Kathmandu too, which book ended the trip perfectly. I certainly hope to climb with Satori again in the future - thank you!
When we arrive at Kathmandu and due to heavy rain and flooding all the flights got canceled but Rishi (Owner) has so many connections and he managed to get the booking to helicopter and flights were i can see other tour companies couldn't managed.
Accommodation, food, our well-being, baggage, and every aspect of our needs were taken care of our guide Sunil and Rishi and his team.
We find Sunil a well experienced, excellent and friendly guide, with several years of experience. He was giving so much support as some days we get so tired and decide I don't want to go ahead but his support and guidance help me to achieve my goal.
Bibek , Deepak, Bhakta our porter were so friendly. Well known of the surrounding area,joyful, always eager to help, making sure lour trek was comfortable.
Overall, we are incredible pleased with the service, the friendship, the professionalism and the relief of being in good hands when we were trekking with Satori Adventures.

We had a truly wonderful ABC trek. Rishi Bhandari & his team of Satori Adventures did a fantastic job of organizing everything for us - myself & my wife age 69 & 67, right from our arrival in Kathmandu. The last three days of trek were tough but the Himalayan scenery, views & nature were truly fantastic. Then it snowed heavily in ABC and it turned so beautiful. The views of the entire Annapurna range in the morning were out of this world !
My second expedition with Satori.. The only thing missing would be my Sherpa from Dhaulagiri (Phurte-bai:), the best Sherpa I've ever had. ) Cooperation with Rishi is really beyond my expectations compared to previous agencies..one just has to say thank you :)

I have used Satori Adventures for 2 of my hiking trips in Nepal - Everest Base camp and Langtang region.
