The most well-known expedition, the Mt. Manaslu Expedition, also starts when the 2023 fall season gets underway. The best months to visit the Manaslu region are September, October, and November since the weather is considered quiet and stable and offers the best views of the mountains and sky. Additionally, the favourable weather makes the route less challenging and has little traffic.
This year, Satori Adventures arranged the Manaslu Expedition – Autumn 2023. On September 1st, 2023, the expedition starts from Kathmandu under the leadership of our Polish leader, Adamski Karol Adam. This year, 14 people worldwide are taking part in Satori Adventures’ 75-day expedition to Mount Manaslu. With the help of our Nepalese Sherpa Team, clients from Poland, the USA, India, the Netherlands, Spain, Russia, France, and Canada are attempting to climb Mt. Manaslu’s 8163m peak.

The 75-day adventure begins in Kathmandu with preparation and briefing before travelling by roadway to Arughat. After that, the trekking to the Manaslu Base Camp starts from Arughat to Sotikhola, then Machhakhola, Jagat, Dang, Namrung, Lho, and Samagaun. Once the climbing phase starts, the true obstacles commence. Base Camp (4800m/15,750ft), Camp 1 (5700m/18,700ft), Camp 2 (6400m/21,000ft), Camp 3(6800m/22,310ft), Camp 4 (7500m/24,606ft), and Summit (8156m/26,759ft) are the six camps that make up the Manaslu Northeast Col route.
