Mount Makalu, the fifth highest mountain on the earth is scheduled to climb by a team of six international climbers with professional climbing Sherpa of Satori Adventures on 6th April 2017. We are very proud to announce the spring climbing team officially, said Managing director of Satori Adventure Pvt Ltd Mr. Rishi Ram Bhandari. All the necessary logistics arrangements and administrative paperwork in Kathmandu has finally been completed, he added.
The team of is lead by Indian climber Mr. Kuntal Joisher with other five climbers from Japan, China, British, Canadian Ukraine and India. According to the MD Bhandari the team is combination of Everest summiteers and other mountain climbers. The Managing Director of Satori Adventures Rishi Bhandari has personally seen them off at the airport, ensuring that the first leg of their expedition goes off without a hitch.
For assisting the mountaineers, 7 professional climbing Sherpa guides of along the multiple Everest summiteers are arranging the climbing this season. The climbing team includes 1 Indian, 1 Japanese, 2 Chinese, 1 Ukraine, 02 British climbers and 10 Nepali staffs for the great Makalu expedition. ‘We hope the team will successfully climb the Makalu summit’ said managing director Bhandari.
As per the information provided by Expedition operators association Nepal there are around 50 climbers and 35 climbing Sherpa guide team at the mountain. Satori Adventures, Himalayan guide, Seven Summit Treks, Expedition Himalaya, Neko Treks, Peak Promotion and Bochi Bochi trekking company are leading the expedition in this spring 2017. Mr Bhandari saying that The expedition operators association Nepal are going to fixed the line and collecting US$ 250.00 per members for fixed rope and climbing equipment to not have any problems for the summit push.
